Bridgette
Allied Health Assistant
Bridgette is a dedicated and passionate allied health assistant with experience working in clinics in Northcote and Coburg and schools. She has also worked as a nursing assistant in various hospitals and spent a couple of years as a swim teacher and a nanny. Her outgoing and bubbly personality helps her build strong connections with clients and colleagues alike.
Her interest in Speech Pathology began during her first year of university while studying health science. As she learned about the different roles in healthcare, reading reports, and exploring research articles, she became inspired to pursue her passion for the field.
Bridgette’s professional interests for the future include dysphagia, speech and language development, early social interaction, and cleft lip conditions. She is also eager to further her skills by learning sign language to better support clients from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
In the future, Bridgette is particularly interested in working with children, adults, mental health clients, and individuals with autism. She is committed to providing compassionate care and positively impacting the communication and well-being of her clients.
