Hello! I’m Carla and I am a Speech Pathologist. After four and half years living interstate (in Tasmania and Sydney), I’m very happy to be back home in Melbourne and equally excited to be joining the team at DWSP.
Living in Italy after high school I developed a real interest in language and went on to study Linguistics, which eventually led me down the wonderful path to Speech Pathology. I have a deep personal interest in language- I am fluent in Italian and have studied Japanese and Auslan as well. I love working with people from all walks of life and of abilities, especially kids, and am passionate about communication as a universal human right.
When I’m not at work, I might be at home with my cat Squiddy, cooking or playing piano, but I also love to travel and to keep active by hiking, dancing and swimming in the ocean.
I’m very much looking forward to meeting and working with new clients in the Northcote and Coburg DWSP clinics.
